Hope is fiercely loyal to Cable, and feels only a limited connection to other people. She is an Omega-level mutant, one whose power limits are ultimately unknown. Her main power is that of pluripotent echopraxia, which means she can duplicate the powers of mutants who are physically near to her. She does not need to actually touch them, and it does not affect their own powers. She can duplicate multiple powers with no apparent limit, but they do eventually fade. Her main powers otherwise include telepathy and telekinesis, as well as use of Phoenix Fire on rare occasions, and she is immune to Rogue's power. She is connected to her Lights, the group of mutants who appeared immediately after she returned to the present, and can feel if one of them is injured as well as influence them somewhat. Being the mutant Messiah, she has some charisma and tends to generate loyalty and either extreme like or dislike in many mutants regarding her. She also has exceptional survival skills and is proficient with firearms. Thanks to being raised by a soldier, she has a strong sense of honor.

HISTORY & PERSONALITY
DESCRIBE YOUR CHARACTER'S HISTORY & PERSONALITY:
Hope was raised in a post-apocalyptic world by a man who’d been a soldier his entire life, so it’s no surprise that she ended up that way - and she is still a lot like Cable. She is tough, fierce, and afraid of very little. She is rather stoic and not easily intimidated. Ever since her experience with the Phoenix, Hope has had a deep understanding of herself and what she can do, yet she has never believed herself to be above others and dislikes being placed on any kind of pedestal. She has never wanted anyone to die or kill on her behalf, and holds a large amount of guilt over what happened between the X-Men and the Avengers, even though she knows it ultimately wasn’t her fault. Hope doesn’t want to be forced to hold to impossible standards when a part of her holds a seed of self-doubt (she is a teen, after all) that causes her to be wary of letting others down.
Hope is a mystery. She wants to belong somewhere, but isn’t quite sure how to find that place where she fits. She is at times shy, and has a curiosity about the world that can be seen in her eyes. She lacks a certain understanding of what a normal teenage girl might deal with on a daily basis, considering she has never been anything exactly normal. She doesn’t take material items for granted, and isn’t one to squander what she finds - or is given. She is the perfect, polite soldier, but can open up and be warm when prompted.
Because of her lack of a childhood, Hope knows nothing about pop culture is drawn to others for the sheer purpose of wanting to learn more about the world around her and whatever situation she is in. She isn’t afraid of killing someone (or something) if she needs to, and has a tendency to do whatever needs to be done to survive, though she doesn’t find any joy in the killing. She can be selfless, but overall she is not very self-sacrificing, because she believes in her own survival thanks to what her father has drilled into her. She is intelligent and can think quickly in stressful situations. While not arrogant, Hope doesn’t self-deprecate; she knows her limits and her skills, and she isn’t necessarily humble, but simply states what she knows is true. Until coming to the “present,” Hope never had any friends and the one constant in her life was Cable.
When Nathan took her (as a baby) to the future.
Going to Celestial City and falling in love with Emil.
Making the decision to return to the past and join the X-Men
Finding her Lights.
Taking on the Phoenix power and using it to restore mutantkind.
WHAT DO YOU WANT YOUR CHARACTER TO ACCOMPLISH IN GAME? WHAT EXCITES YOU ABOUT PLAYING THIS CHARACTER?
Hope needs the opportunity to actually be a teenager for once, even if she doesn't want to. I love playing this socially awkward mess.
DO YOU HAVE A ROOMMATE REQUEST? Job idea?
Kid's floor to start probably, then will likely go to Emma.
